If you have a dream where your falling and actully hit the ground what does it mean?

i’ve had the usual dream where i feel like i’m falling and i was talking to my friend about it and she said she had dreams like that too. she told me that if you hit the ground in the dream you die, but every time i have a dream like that i always hit the ground and i don’t wake up or anything, my dream just goes on, i’m not injured or hurt at all. when i hit the ground i’m actully just realieved that i’m done falling, because i hate the feeling you get when your falling and walk off somewhere in the dream. usually i find somthing cool or interesting, like the dream where i fell of an unusually long waterfall and hit the water and found treasure on the sand of the beach that it lead to. i was just wondering what that means, is it abnormal to hit the bottom? thanks
Please serious answers. i’m talking about falling a long distance off of something high in a dream. come on people!

I think it means, you might be having some problems in life and you hope that in the ned everything will come out perfect. i.e. When a child thinks that his/her divorced parents will get back together.
