A theme of much of the school children would have a treasure hunt. Start your party theme with a great invitation to let them know the search the treasure is! On game day, as children reach pirate tie head scarves customers and give them something as a pirate, perhaps a bandage to establish the rule of encouragement. Consider face painting or temporary tattoos to help set the mood of pirates and spend time as all the guests arrive. Consider the possibility of assembling a music CD or type template pirate shanty Irish to play on in the background, after all these are pirates! Make copies of the CD favors additional if desired.

After all guests have arrived and have their decorations of the pirates, it's time to start the games. Perhaps a walk over from the table is just what the captain ordered. Divide guests into two teams and have two "planks" prepared with 4 blocks each, and a 2×4 board wood. At one end is the starting line. At the other extreme, have a small table with a bowl of jelly beans and an empty cup. Give each child a spoon and a cotton ball. One by one the children walk the plank holding your cotton ball in your spoon in your mouth! When they reach the other hand, will take a spoon and dump their cotton balls in the cup. Then they need to pick up a red Jellybean (a pile of jelly beans all colors) and put the spoon in his mouth. To complete their part of the relay to be walking by the table and eat their Jellybean. Once you eat them the next person goes. When the last person who eats his jelly beans, made the team. Continue with other games or activities until you are ready to have drinks, then it's time to find buried treasure!

Give guests the party a map of a large treasure that leads them to a scavenger hunt to find the chest. Finally, they found a treasure chest, I would recommend that the best place to have that becoming is where you will serve refreshments. They have the table in style complete with jolly Roger pirate flags, pirate tableware and accessories, and been a huge "xa" at the top of the table with the treasure chests of gold coins, Mardi Gras beads and other shiny ornaments in the center as a piece central. Blue Koolaid with ice cubes containing frozen fish or shark Swedish Fruit Snacks impressive aspect with any pirate / ocean cake.
