Searching for Mr. Joseph Jasgur – who gave me a photograph of Marilyn Monroe then Norma Jeane, taken 1946?

I have been trying to locate Mr. Joseph Jasgur. I worked with this sweet gentle man back in 1985/86. I was 16 years old at the time working after school, with dreams of becoming a model as so many young ladies do. My inspirations being Dorothy Dandridge, & of course Marilyn Monroe. We worked for a company doing telemarketing. To make a long story short Mr Jasgur picked my name for the Christmas name picking that year & blessed me with an original blk & wht 8 x 10 photo of Norma Jean Dougherty, AKA Marilyn Monroe. A photo that he took of her back in 1946 B4 she became MM. I have always treasured this photo. I am now 38yrs of age, the photo was copy written the same year it was given to me. It was a true pleasure hearing his stories while photographing Ms. Marilyn something I will never forget. I think he resides in Florida now & is 80 yrs plus in age, married to a woman named Debbie. I would love to find him hopefully still alive & well. Please help me on my journey!!

He’s alive, but not well. I believe mr Jasgur has Alzheimers now, or he’s senile. I wouldn’t try contacting him now if I were you, he probably won’t remember you. Just hold on to the memory. And the photo!
