Trowel. The trowel is an important and necessary accessory in metal detecting.  Naturally, when you have pinpointed a target, you will need to dig it up.  There are a number of trowels specifically aimed for treasure hunting, but the gardening implement will suffice and service its purpose.

Scuff cover. A scuff cover is important as this will provide protection for your detector.  Not only that, this will provide additional water proofing for your control box.
