NEED HELP FOR EXTRA CREDITT IMPORTANT QUESTION & CANT FIND ANSWERS IN GOOGLE!!!!!!!?
Ok, Question: If you work for a diving company that searches wrecked ships, and you are diving off the coast of Madagascar and find treasure in a sunken ship, who keeps the treasure? Is it Madagascar since it was found on their territory, is it the company, or is it the person that finds the treasure? Please help!!
It depends on how far off the coast of Madagascar. If it’s close in, Madagascar law will dictate. If it’s farther out, international law controls.
