How do I get my tiger barbs to stop attacking my tetras?

I just set up a new 28 gallon tank. It has 6 fake plants (5 silk, 1 plastic), a hollow log, a pirate ship with holes to hide inside of, a bubbling treasure chest, and a bubble curtain. I let it sit for a day after I hooked everything up to make sure it was working, then I added 3 neon tetras and 3 tiger barbs. All 6 fish are small (less than one inch right now). The problem is, my barbs have been chasing around the tetras and nipping their tail fins. Basically the tetras are stuck hiding behind a plant in the back while the barbs zoom around the tank. Is there anything I can do to help them get along and not torment my tetras?
I have also been adding Nutrifin Cycle for the past three days (according to directions on the bottle), and the water is a litte cloudy. I’ve tested for nitrites and ammonia, and they are both 0. Will the cloudiness go away on its own or do I need to change something?

Tiger barbs are semi-aggressive, so it is in their nature to nip other fish, especially those smaller and easy to pick on such as neon tetras.

Unless you plan on purchasing a tank divider, it may be best to just choose which type you will return.

The cloudiness will go away eventually.
