Where is the best place in Florida to search for the treasure?

I know there's a part of the Florida East Coast called …. Coast Treasury, but where is it? "Where is the best place to track the beaches with metal detectors to find any old Spanish coins and other devices? Is it in the north or further south? I'm possibly going to St. Augustine soon, and I was not sure if this would be a good place to test a detector metal out or not? Thank you. In fact, ST. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States.
