Metal Detector Circuit Diagram
Make your own metal detector is definitely not an easy project, but there are designs out there and available to people out there who has the knowledge and expertise. Hey, if you're an electrical engineer and can be seen in the circuit diagrams and easily figure what is tension across the two capacitors and resistance, probably metal detector building homemade will not be a big problem for you. Maybe you design the best and most new new metal detector and we all want to buy one of you. On the other hand, if you've never met, even the simplest electronic project before, and do not know the difference between a resistor and a transistor, which will be in a lot of big problems and headaches.
The project has a lot of issues from the experience compared to just practice practice and knowledge against ignorance, etc. Can it be done? Can you create your own metal detector? No doubt, yes can be done. If you are thinking of a project, take some time to simply learn the basics about how a detector metals.
So lets consider the hard facts and realistic: if you have no electronic skills and not regularly build such projects in electronics, will be to build a metal detector to be practical? The honest answer is: Probably not. It's basically a case if they have no experience with electronics and know exactly what you're doing, it would be better to work at McDonald's on the weekends, because it probably would win the money to buy a detector made before they would get a home built, tested and working properly. I actually had a class of electrical engineering at the university – so I know a little of something – but I admit I am not an electrical engineer and, personally, never seriously considering trying to build my own metal detector – but those are just my thoughts. I'm not trying to discourage you, I'm just trying to be practical and reasonable.
On the other hand, if you're really serious, and have the necessary experience, tools and all equipment necessary to build a project, I am providing a website that will provide the plans for the circuit diagram and layout you need. You can also buy a pre-printed card for the project web site author. Also has information about metal detectors in general. Is the detector metal finishes to be as good as any for sale in the shop metal detector? Probably not, but definitely does not work. I wish you the best of luck in their efforts, and if you take this path and succeed, send me an email.
Here is the website with the layout and design and build your own detector metals. I ignore the designs of historical types of sensors such as BFO type units. There are both PI (Pulse Induction) and VLF (balance of induction) detectors described here.
