I found this object while metal detecting!?

That’s really interesting that it’s been placed on an abalone or shale backing. Might be worth something.

I’d go show it to the people on the jewelry discussion board on ebay. There are thousands of people, if not millions, that frequent those boards! Someone will surely be able to help you.
