Wear in Arizona,Utah,Wyoming, or Montana is the best place to metal detect for Gold/or find a guide??

I want to old prospect while on vacation and I also thought about precious stones or old relics , ghost towns etc.

Virginia City, Montana is an abadoned gold mine ghost town.You probally wont find any gold there , but you can have fun trying.
