metal detector?

i have 20 acres that use to be a farm its in alabama im wondering if i could find some old coins confederate maybe as well as other interesting things, anyway i need a metal detector im looking to spend less than 300 or so but iwant a decent one maybe on that shows the image of what im detecting and how deep it is, i dont know anything about them and dont want to get ripped of….brand and model suggestions?

I have Garrett and it’s pretty good in detecting metals specially coins, rings and so forth.
