Lost Treasures In Panama
Is the “legend” of the Lost Treasure of Quepos true or not?
The legend has it that three Spanish Galleons sailed from Panama City before it was sacked by Henry Morgan in l761 taking approximately 700 tons of gold, silver, and other treasure to Quepos where it was supposed to have been hidden by the Indians there – and never recovered. -
Like all legends of lost treasure, there is always a kernel of truth, but whether or not it is the whole truth it is now known. Like the treasures of Black Beard, or of the Templar’s, Golden City of Cibola, etc, nothing has yet to be found to verify existence of said treasures … so it is with the treasure of Quepos in Costa Rica.
