I’m totally lost in the book Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, what is it about?

I’m only on page 22 and start school in less than a week and have to do my summer reading, shut up everybody procrastinates, I’m going to be a freshman in high school! Hell yeah! But have to get this done so can you help me?

It’s not a tough book. A classic pirate romp, for chldren with a child hero. A villain so well-done and so often imitated that it’s now a cliché. (It wasn’t then).
