When playing little big planet, do you get to keep all the items opened by other players?

I’m playing online and the other player asks me to use my sticker (he doesn’t have one) to open up some hidden treasures. I do so but I had already collected all the prizes during a previous game I played on my own.

Does he automatically get all the prizes I collected earlier or does he get my sticker?

Also, when we opened the 2 player prizes together, he collected most of the prizes that came out. I assume they become mine as well. Is that right?
