In Red Dead Redemption can you cross borders?

I got Red Dead redemption, and I love it, but i want to know, when you go to mexico, and the other location after that, can you return to new austin? i want to experience this game fully, which includes finding the treasures hidden in new austin

Yes, There is nothing stopping you from going back to New Austin. In fact, the story eventually leads you back. That’s what this game nails, the abiltiy to do what you want, when you want to, with no restrictions. I would have been dissapointed if I coudln’t have gone back. But once again, Rockstar thought of everything.
