I used to not like thrift stores, but now I love them…it’s like a treasure hunt! So my question is, do you like thrifting, and if you do, what are some of your thrift store stories? Did you find an incredible bargain? Did you have to beat up an old lady to get that vintage shirt? Find hidden money? Tell all!

i like it when im going for that one of a kind type peice you cant find in stores any more. the ones around my house seem to be a jackpot of old band shirts, from 1960 till today. my tastes in music are very broad so if i can scoop up a bunch of shirts for bands i like for the price of one at a regular store, then im a happy girl.
possibly the funniest thing that has ever happend to me in one (no i didnt have to beat up an old lady, lol) was when my friend and i were there and we both spotted this dress we liked. she tried it on and said “i think theres something wrong with it”…then i tried it on, and i had a similar issue….neither of us realized until we both looked really hard that it was a maternity dress. it didnt look like one till we had it on….it sucked too cause if it werent made for a pregnant woman, i totally would have bought it.
