Visiting America.?

Hi. I’m in Australia and I’m thinking about taking a holiday to America (taking in all the sights!).

I’d love to know the main tourist attractions (for any/all states) and also any ‘hidden treasures’. I’d love to find some brochures (city by city) that could be sent to Australia, but the only ones I can find cover all of America and have a column or so on each state).

So…
1) Main tourist attractions and tourist cities
2) Hidden treasures in any states
3) Any must-do experiences from previous travellers
4) Where I could get brochures sent to Australia

For Washington State I would look up info on Leavenworth, Washington. If you plan on vistiting Seattle, to get to Leavenworth you would drive over the Cascade Mountains by taking two mountain passes (Snoqualmie and Blewett) which is only a 2.5 hour drive and beautiful. Actually, you could take Stevens Pass (just as, or more beautiful) instead and that takes you directly into Leavenworth from the Seattle area.

I would stay a few days in Seattle too. It’s an amazing city. I think you might have fun at either Woodland Park Zoo or Point Defiance Zoo. Pike Place Market in Seattle is super famous. You can take a Ferry ride out to Orcas Island. I have always wanted to do that. I love Orcas and I believe you can see them out there. Also, don’t forget to check out Snoqualmie Falls!

Please try to get your arse to Disneyland in Anaheim, California! It really is the happiest place on earth! I love it there. I swear I want to build a house right in the middle of Disneyland and live there. ) While you’re down there please go shopping on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. You may even see a famous face or two either shopping alongside you or driving!

Well anyway, as you can tell I’m partial to the West Coast of the US because that’s where I’ve lived. Every state here is so different from the next, you have a tough choice, good luck!
