does anyone know how to work the metal detector to find the hidden treasures in sims 2 for x-box?

Have your sim pick it up, and walk around out in the grass. I turned the volume up on my TV, and that helped, because you need to listen for a change in the beeping that you hear. When you hear it stop and stand still. If the controller starts vibrating, and the metal detector gets a white glow around the bottom, you can press A and dig up treasure (or junk). Just be patient and observant, and you’ll get it eventually.
