For sixteen year I toiled at work
To find a spot of gold
With help from a crew three times we found
A treasure in which to hold

I left that mine when the well dried up
to join a pirate crew
To much avail, this senior group
looked upon this treasure too

When we failed to nab what we had sought
they threw me to the sea
The gulls and birds picked me up
and dropped me on my feet

I tried my hand to ride the range
but the boss had other plans.
I went back west to find the mine
where I left my shakes and pans.
