“Spider Rock trove”?

Does anybody have info to share about the Spider Rock treasure trove in Texas.
It is story that had survived for over 100 years in the vicinities of Kiowa Peak.
Could not find a category to suit this topic, I think this is the best.

Col B, the link you suggested about the investigation of Mr Townsley is just part of the trove he’s been investigating “Spider Rock” for a while, but we think people out there working on the field have a little bit more of info we can use to crack the code.
