Was Joseph Smith a false Prophet?

Deut. 18:22 gives us the standard a Prophet of God must meet.. How did Joseph Smith do?

Joseph Smith – Made known to him in vision and by the Spirit that the coming of the Lord was nigh, 56 years should wind up the scene. — History of the Church, vol. 2, p. 182 (February 14, 1835)

First, D&C 111 only has 11 verses. Second, it’s saying they would be financially sound, not that they would find a hidden treasure or anything. As far as I know, the early saints had no financial difficulties when in Salem.

The Saints would still be in Missouri if the state wouldn’t have declared an extermination order on them. If they would’ve stayed in Missouri, all of them would have been killed. As far as 101 goes, it says they should buy all the land around Jackson county that is for sale.

Again for D&C 84. The church would still be in Missouri if there wouldn’t have been a death order against them.

I’ve never read History of the Church and don’t know what all is in there so I can’t comment on that.

By the way, a copy and paste from irr.org is not cool.
