One Headlight

im so frustrated in this world,
i wish i had a space ship to fly away.
to a place i may never know,
because i dream of places that can never be.

so much emotion, so raw,
i can no longer tell if positive or negative.
all i know is that it is flowing
streaming up yet flooding south

where is my sunken ship at least
perhaps there is hidden treasure,
because here on land, i am empty
my barren chest, inside dark as night.

someone save me, someone know me,
only God I can trust
to guide me through this pain,
that even I know nothing about.

until I find myself in bliss,
will I park the car
until then, I’ll focus on the distance
in this seemingly never-ending tunnel.
