Are there any mines of the public treasure hunt in Georgia, North Carolina south? Im driving from NY to Fl in October?
Im driving NY to Florida and want to know if there is gold, gems, mines treasure that can pass through any of the states of the East Coast's proximity to the road without going to far astray. Never done this before so I do not know what to do, how it is, or if theres an all-inclusive. If some are better than others, or prices. Feel free to email me if interested in helping, thanks!
the majority of them in North GA or NC are tourist traps. Basically, you buy a bucket of dirt which of course has already been picked through. They're all over the place in the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains. There is a place where you actually called Hiddenite mining can make yourself.
