Does anyone know if is possible to detect metallic gold in the UK? I was looking at comments on a detector Minelab metal, the GPX4000 and people are finding tons of gold nuggets in Alaska, USA and Australia. But I have not heard anything in the UK although the model above is officially on sale in the UK and is aimed at detecting only Gold! I would get one but is useless if there is no gold found in the UK. HELP!
